Established within the St Paul’s Community Centre and Primary School you will find our excellent childcare setting, St Paul’s Childcare. With families at the heart of our ethos we have provided nurturing care for the children of Hereford for three generations.

St Paul’s Church started the nursery school as a playgroup in the 1960s and some of the original staff are still here. Most of the staff have also placed their own children in the nursery and continue to do so today.

The nursery still retains close links with the church, welcoming children of all denominations and beliefs. Children are invited to enjoy song and stories every week with their friends in the church and we hold special family services to celebrate Easter, Harvest and Christmas.

Our aim as a community based group is to offer equal opportunities for all children and their families. Our classrooms provide secure and stimulating learning environments. Staff enjoy encouraging the development and education of the children in their care and ensure that each child is valued for who they are.
